Age care shop volunteers gathered together to send shop volunteer Tania Aldridge on her way to the “Camino de Santiago”.
Tania will start her bike pilgrimage on June 12th at St Jean Pied de Port, France. Travelling approximately 80 kilometres per day, her anticipated arrival at Santiago de Compostela Spain is 10 days and 780 kilometres later.
After a couple of well deserved days of rest, Tania returns to the Costa del Sol on June 23rd.
Already there has been great support for Tania. The Masons Gemini Lodge has pledged 780 euros and individuals have so far raised over 1000 euros.
Any companies, groups and individuals who would like to give their support, it’s not too late! Please contact Beverley on 675 874 308 or stop by the Age Care Charity Shop in El Zoco, Calahonda.
All money raised goes to the Age Care Association and is used for the benefit of the increasing number of the ageing expats in the community.
