Age Care Shop Volunteer Tania Aldridge was warmly welcomed back by her colleagues at the Charity Shop in Calahonda on Tuesday 26th June having completed her pilgrimage of 780km.
Tania set off from St Jean Pied de Port in France, travelling approximately 80km per day she arrived at Santiago De Compostela 10 days later having completed 780 km.
Tania said the whole experience was an amazing journey, outstanding scenery and wonderful people she met along the way helped her to complete the pilgrimage.
Although at the time of going to press there were still some outstanding pledges to collect an incredible amount of €2243.00 has been collected so far. A cheque for €780 was handed to John Greaves, President of Age Care Association by Michael Williams, Director of Ceremonies and Neil Rodgers King Rat Master, Masonic Gemini Lodge.
